Positive and negative symptoms

   Symptoms of schizophrenia are often divided into positive (productive) and negative. To develop positive attitudes delirium, auditory hallucinations and thought disorder - all of these manifestations, usually indicating the presence of psychosis. In turn, the loss of or lack of good character traits and abilities of people say negative symptoms: a reduction in brightness endured emotions and emotional reactions (flat or flattened affect), poverty of speech (alogiya), the inability to derive pleasure (angedoniya), loss of motivation. Recent studies, however, suggests that despite the loss of external passion, schizophrenia patients are often capable of emotional distress on a normal or even higher level, particularly in stressful or negative events. Marked the third group of symptoms, the so-called syndrome disruption, which includes chaotic speech, thought and chaotic behavior. There are other symptomatic classification.
